SINDA is a group of four wheel drive owners and drivers who have banded together for the following reasons:

To have fun, and share our knowledge of places to take our 4WDs throughout the South Island.

To meet other people with similar interests to share mechanical knowledge of the 4WD, and to promote longevity, safety and performance.

To encourage the responsible use of four-wheel drive vehicles, so that maximum benefit and enjoyment is achieved consistent with the avoidance of damage to private and public lands and to the environment. We promote the TREAD lightly  policy .

To promote friendship and goodwill among members and save money while accomplishing the above.
